Ireland’s largest tourism trade fair takes
place in Killarney
Monday 8th May 2006: Ireland’s largest tourism trade fair, Meitheal 2006, was launched by Minister of Arts, Sport and Tourism, John O’Donoghue TD at the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney today. The event, which is jointly organised by Fáilte Ireland, the national Tourism Development Authority, and Tourism Ireland, is expected to generate over €800 million in trade as 300 overseas tour operators from all over the world meet with more that 500 Irish product providers.
